   The images used that were prioritized was a scene of a car driving into the woods and also an image of trees that barely have any leaves on them.

How does the film establish a feeling of a genre from the outset?

   The film establishes the genre of a mystery because of the grey lighting and the music used as the music sounds like it on repeat and like at any minute something would just pop up. The grey lighting looks grey and grey usually links to somber moods showing that whatever is going to happen won't be good making viewers curious about what is going to happen.
