Hello queens and kings. How was your day today? Anyways this blog is all about the movie Innocence. Another Asian movie!
- What conventions of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?
The conventions that Innocence has is wide shot, pan, medium close up, tracking, dialogue, acting, diegetic sound, zoom, props, over the shoulder and many more. This was quite difficult as I had to try to stop myself from watching the movie too deeply because at some point I got distracted and was not looking for the conventions in the movie but thank for have a little self control. I feel that I got so immersed in the movie because of the conventions.- What conventions of the genre did the movie have that you liked?
To be honest I like every bit of the convention that was used in the movie Innocence. But the convention that I like most was acting because without the acting I would not have gotten so immersed in the movie. Another convention that played a part in me being immersed in the movie was the props. Without both of these two that movie would have been nothing. So I would absolutely focus on my acting and props for my final task- What conventions of the genre did the movie have that did not appeal to you and you are thinking of not filming for your final film.
As I said before I love all the conventions that were used for the movie Innocence. So, It is all going to come down to what I find hard to incorporate into my film. Over the shoulders would not be ideal for my film so I won't use that. Pan is something I would definitely not use as I cannot include it anywhere in my film.Well that seems to be all for this blog. Have a good day tomorrow. Also be safe out there. Bye, queens and kings.
Sincerely, Shabriana Chevelon
